A big thank you to Q the Brand, a fantastic blog that just featured me and my seven tips to making powerful connections. In this hour long audio interview, you can dig into some “marketing therapy.” I talk about what personal connections mean, how they’re powerful, and why it’s an integral part of community building. However, I’m quick to point out that I’m more of a helper than a connector.
I began my entrepreneurship journey because I like money—and there’s no shame in that! When I was ten years old, I got my first checking account and adored watching that money go up (today, you have to be a little older to have an account). In my early days, I had a paper route making $250 per month. In one year I had almost $3,000, which is a big chunk for a ten year old!
I also like working, which is a key part of being an entrepreneur. I talk about Due.com, my own pitfalls over the years and what you can learn from them, and of course some tips on how to connect and sustain those relationships.
