Putting on a public event can be a large task. I haven’t run many events but the ones that I have used I have used Meetup the site to help me promote the event.
Other pro tips to promote events:
- Use people who are attending to promote
- Local University discounts
- Promote on Eventbright
- Linkedin promotion works great
- Speakers and panelists.
- Create images and tag people. This will show their friends.
People are the best ways to promote events that I have found! They already have trust with people and if they are coming to your event they have trust in you and your event!
