I will be speaking at FinCon, the world’s largest financial content expo, which will be held in San Diego at the Sheraton San Diego from September 21st through September 24th. I will be sharing my experiences in creating and publishing content that is related to personal finance as well as financial content directed at startups, freelancers, and small businesses as the head of Due, an online invoicing and payments company.
This is an excellent opportunity to connect with others within the financial content and media industries as well as learn to create, promote, and profit from online content that is directed at personal finance, money management, and investing. The panels and seminars are directed at learning how to create digital content for video channels, podcasts, social media accounts and blogs as well as how to get that content in front of the right audience.
This year’s event features keynote speakers, such as Clark Howard, a consumer expert, lifelong entrepreneur, radio show host and author who shares ways to keep money in your pocket; Kim Garst, a best-selling author and thought leader in the social media space; and Noah Kagan, Chief Sumo at App Sumo, which helps business professionals, and founder of Gambit, a payment engine for virtual games.
There are dozens of other speakers as well as networking events on tap for this year’s conference that represent a wide range of financial institutions, fintech, financial media, investment groups and more. If you are a financial blogger or podcaster, financial journalist, freelancer writer, brand marketing rep or author, you should definitely come check out this new media conference directed at finance.
I’m looking forward to catching up with colleagues and meeting new people working in this industry, especially at the fun networking events this conference puts on every year. See you there!
