I am honored to be listed as one of Entrepreneur’s Top 50 Online Marketing Influencers in December. As the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) article noted, five of its members, including me, were on the magazine’s list. My colleague, Murray Newlands, President of Due.com, was also honored along with Richard Lorenzen, CEO of Fifth Avenue Brands; Neil Patel, Co-Founder and VP of Marketing for KISSmetrics; and Shama Hyder, CEO of The Marketing Zen Group.
Besides my fellow YEC members, I am thrilled to be among such a list of influencers who I admire for their own contributions to online marketing. Many of those on the list have taught me a lot about online marketing, and I enjoy reading their insights or seeing them speak at the many events and conferences I attend.
The list of online marketing influencers was compiled based on a number of factors that included social media engagement, expertise about a particular niche within online marketing, and audience size.
